The New Forest Outdoor Centre is the perfect venue for a corporate event, wedding, or conference. We have a rustic feel with simple comfortable facilities that creates a space that you can make your own. The venue is surrounded by woodland and accessed by a long drive that weaves through a forestry plantation. This sense of remoteness and privacy enables you to be immersed in the natural environment and create the atmosphere that you want for your day.
With the combination of indoor and outdoor facilities the New Forest Outdoor Centre provides a blank canvas for you to build your event. Our experience with catering, activities and event management means we can either create or support you to create the function that you want.
The Carpenter’s Barn is at the heart of the centre which opens into a large permanent marquee.
This leads onto a deck and lawns and fire circle. For people staying overnight our shepherd huts are situated around the lawns.
Whether you are looking for a quiet meeting space or a large activity filled family day our facilities can offer a comfortable immersion into nature. We have a licensed woodland bar and offer a range of catering options.
We are experienced in using our venue and the estate as a whole to organise events and conferences.
We can provide the centre as a blank canvas for you, work in partnership with you or be your event management team to create the experience you are looking for.
Conferencing, small scale meetings, break out energising activities, family days, facilitation, learning experiences to compliment workshops, team social evenings are all available.
With our experienced instructors are able to use our large range of quality outdoor activities to create either learning and development experiences or fun group activity experiences to compliment your event.
Make the day your own
The New Forest Outdoor Centre has hosted 100s of weddings, all of whom have been able to make the venue their own, through personal decoration and design of the day. Many couples take the venue for the whole weekend enabling time to decorate, enjoy the wedding day, stay overnight and have a leisurely departure on the Sunday. This is a perfect way to involve friends and family with the set up and pack down making weddings a real community event.

Our use of outside caterers enables a wide choice of catering options.
The outdoor nature of the venue lends itself to BBQs, hog roasts and paella dishes which have a bit of theatre as well as tasting good. We also provide quality cold buffets, packed lunches, cook food around the campfire and can set up a kitchen for function catering.
In the past fish and chip vans, ice cream vans, gourmet buggers and all sort of other street foods have been served.
Whilst we have caterers that we know and trust we are also happy for you to choose your own and will work in partnership with them for your event.
Typical days for corporate groups will have tea and coffee available all day with cakes mid morning and afternoon.
