Established in 1998, schools and colleges have been visiting for both residential programmes (capacity 65) and day visits (upto 280). We offer exclusive use of our facilities and work with just one group at a time. This enables us to be completely focused on delivering the best programme for you and provides the opportunity for flexibility during your stay, depending on the needs of the group and the weather.
We tailor all of our programmes to meet your aims and timings, and are not constrained by fixed activity durations or time slots.

Situated in the heart of Minstead Manor Estate the Outdoor Centre has good access to the estate’s private woodland as well as the New Forest as a whole. We are passionate about our natural surroundings; the facilities and activities have been developed to complement and be part of the local woodland environment.
Nature is at the heart of our programmes and we use positive shared outdoor activity experiences to connect young people to the landscape.

Yes. We are fully insured to run all of our activities and have £10 million public liability cover.

Activities will still go ahead however we will carefully select the venue and pick the safest and most appropriate activity for the conditions on the day.

All activity staff are experienced, undergo thorough training and are first aid qualified. Where appropriate they have national governing body award qualifications for the activities which they deliver. All staff at Brenscombe are DBS checked and undergo additional safeguarding training. We have a strong team of permanent staff, who are supported by experienced seasonal staff, many of whom return for multiple years.
