Residential Programmes for Schools

Challenge & responsibility through adventure

Engaging residential experiences for children recognise the need for appropriate challenge and responsibility. Whether it is for those away from home for the first time or for seasoned campers, we will support the children and teachers to enjoy their time in the woods.

We believe that the residential experience itself is as important as the individual activities we offer and so focus on offering wholesome food and a comfortable nights sleep. Our coordinators are with you throughout the week to support the teachers and ensure that your group is set up to make the most of their time outdoors.

Staying overnight with us provides the opportunity to really unwind, soak up the tranquil atmosphere and hopefully spot a few falling stars.

A night around the campfire or wood burner provides the perfect opportunity to reconnect away from screens and distractions.

A unique and personal outdoor experience

We actively involve the young people in problem solving and safety management so that they don’t just participate in an activity but learn the skills necessary to fully understand it.

Working with one group at a time we offer a unique and personal outdoor experience. We have flexibility with our activity delivery to ensure the experiences are engaging and tailored for both time and content. There is ample activity choice onsite and where appropriate we can also utilise the wider landscape of the New Forest

We’re dedicated to providing enriching outdoor experiences tailored for students and youth groups. Our programs aim to foster teamwork, leadership skills, environmental awareness, and a love for the outdoors.

Creating an atmosphere of support that encourages people to stretch themselves

  •  Experiential Learning: Students learn by doing, engaging with their environment in a hands-on manner.
  •  Physical Health: Outdoor activities promote physical fitness and well-being.
  • Mental Health: Spending time in nature reduces stress and improves mental clarity.
  •  Social Skills: Collaborative activities foster teamwork and communication skills.
  • Environmental Awareness: Learning outdoors promotes appreciation for nature and environmental stewardship.

All activities will be run on a challenge by choice basis enabling people to choose their level of participation. Facilitators will create an atmosphere of support that should encourage people to stretch themselves appropriately.
